Franklin Street. The Offices of IPAT were
moved in 2004 to a building behind the
Museum.

Grapevine is one of the oldest settlements in
North Texas.  It originated under the Lone
Star Flag in 1844 which was one year before
statehood.  The settlement's namesake was
the wild mustang grapes which grew so
abundantly in the area.  Today Grapevine
celebrates it's history with an extensive
restoration project recognized by the
National Registry of Historic Places and an
annual Grapefest which is attended by over
5,000 citizens and visitors.  IPAT's home is
located in the historic original township
district and is one block off main street.

The collection of antique china in the
museum, along with the addition of modern
acquisitions makes the collection a valued
historical hallmark of styles through the past
100+ years.
