judged rating system by points in which each entry is rated on a 100 point system using the
published point distribution.
1. For IPAT members only, completely voluntary.
2. Art must be painted on hard paste porcelain (i.e., German, French, Japanese, etc) or soft paste

the judges and/or be eliminated. At the close of the convention the decisions of the judges and/or
competition committee are final.
4. Art must have been painted since the last IPAT Biennial Convention. A piece of a rt which has
won a ribbon in a U.S.Regional competition may not be entered in another U.S. Regional

stated on the printed entry blank in the show brochure).

will be stated on the entry form and must accompany the entry. Only those pieces which are
entered into the competition will be judged (evaluated) and they will be displayed in the exhibit
area but separately so that the participants will be able to distinguish between the competition
pieces and the exhibit pieces.
