INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING ARTICLES
1. IPAT can only accept original work and only if they have never been published before in any other magazine.
2. Please send in your actual photos. Do not send photos that have been printed from an ink jet printer on photo
paper. Please send digital photographs online only with 300 dpi* or greater and only in a jpeg format.
Send other larger digital files (such as tiff files) on a CD to one of the addresses listed above. Digital jpeg files
must be straight from the camera without manipulation in size. Set your camera on the highest resolution
jpeg file. Send written documents as a ‘.doc file’ or in an e-mail. Send CMYK, 300 dpi, PDF files for review if
preferred.
3. Make sure that you mark the package of your articles with DO NOT BEND printed on it. Do not stick photos to
the cardboard. Please protect the photos with another inside envelope or use a hardcover envelope from the
Post Office.
4. The IPAT Magazine Staff has sole discretion as to whether to accept the materials for publishing. Photos that
do not have enough value contrasts do not make good reproductions, so please make sure that your photos are
without flash glare in major areas. They also need to be clearly in focus. IPAT, Incorporated and it's personnel
are not responsible for any untoward results of any kind from use/implementation from articles submitted to this
magazine.
It is the responsibility of the contributor that their article is not a copy of any copyrighted
article/photo/painting/ephemera/or image.
